Cushioned outdoor folding rocking chairs

There’s nothing like the relaxing feeling you get gently rocking on a rocking chair on a breezy summer evening. But, if you’re like me, you find that sitting in any type of hard chair for a long period of time is hard on the back, and on the butt. Fortunately a few makers of lawn furniture do make padded rocking chairs, so that you can enjoy that blissful time to its fullest. An alternative would be to get cushions that you can tie to the chair.

An example that I think looks more comfortable than your average folding chair:

Skirted parsons chairs

If you like the traditional look of high-back chairs, but wish they were somewhat more elegant, a good solution would be skirted parsons chairs. There are plenty available, with upholstery in all sorts of colors and patterns.If however, you already own parsons chairs, an alternative would be to buy slipcovers made especially for these types of seats. It’s a solution that is definitely more affordable.

Black wood dining room chairs

If you have a dining room table but are in need of chairs, consider chairs that will match the table’s color. You certainly can’t go wrong with that approach. Another way to go is to choose chairs that will provide a contrast to the table. A white table surrounded by black chairs can make quite in impact in a dining room. Or try combining traditional and modern furniture to heighten the contrast.
